ALLEN, Robert David (Bob)
Passed away February 2, 2010 at home
with his family at his side. Born in Listowel,
Ontario in 1958. Beloved husband and
best friend of Starr. Devoted father of
three wonderful daughters Meghane,
Rebecca and Ali. Beloved son of Majors
Robert and Mary Allen of Peterborough.
Brother of Rick (Lorraine) of Mount Pleasant
and Ron (Jennifer) of Barrie. Brother-in-
law of Heather McNeil Hoffer of
Kitchener. Son-in-law of Verna Hornby
of Peterborough. Also survived by
many aunts and uncles, cousins,
and nephews Devoted Salvationist,
Young Peoples Junior Soldier
Sargent, Beaver Leader and Sunday
School Teacher and Songster. Support
of ARC (Animal Rescue). Friends will
be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL
HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356
Rubidge Street on Friday, February 5,
2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Celebration
of Bob’s Life will be held at the
SALVATION ARMY TEMPLE, 219 Simcoe
Street on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at
1:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior to
service. The Major Robert Zwicker will
officiate. In lieu of fl owers, Bob’s family
ask that donations be made to Animal Rescue
of Lakefield, or the Salvation Army
